City tour around Yerevan, lunch in a local restaurant, visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Park and the Museum of Genocide Victims; in the second half of the day your main attraction will be the History Museum of Armenia, Armenian Brandy Factory. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 2: Yerevan - Tsaghkadzor (Cycling distance 55-60 km)
Breakfast in hotel, then transfer to Tsahkadzor; a short rest, then start a cycling tour around Tsakhkadzor. An easy ride on bicycle in the vicinity of Tsakhkadzor, which is located in a picturesque valley on the Eastern slope of Mt Tegenis to 1845 m. above sea level. "The Valley of Flowers"- Tsahkadzor in contrast to many other resorts is attractive in both winter and summer times. Then continue cycling to Kecharis Monastery, which is one of the most interesting religious complexes of Armenia. Dinner and overnight stay in Tsaghkadzor
Day 3: Tsaghkadzor - Village Bjni - Tsaghkadzor (Cycling distance 55-60 km)
After breakfast the route leads us in the direction of the villages of Bjni or Aghveran. Aghveran is one of the picturesque towns in Armenia and is famous for its mild climate and picturesque landscapes of the surrounding mountains. Visit the village of Bjni, which is situated on the right bank of Hrazdan River and where you will find the ruins of the fortress of the 9-10cc, which you will climb by foot. Dinner and overnight stay in Tsaghkadzor
Day 4: Tsaghkadzor - Lake Sevan - Dilijan (Cycling distance 60-70 km)
After breakfast we cycle to the resort town of Dilijan, passing through the unique Sevanavank Monastery (9th c.) on the peninsula, which used to be an island. Next we continue cycling to Goshavank visiting the 12th- or 13th-century Armenian monastery with its unique Armenian "khatchkarer" (cross stones). Continue cycling to Dilijan, which is called the "Armenian Switzerland"; dinner and overnight stay in Dilijan
Day 5: Dilijan - Lake Sevan – Hayravank – Noradus - Sevan (Cycling distance 60-70 km)
Breakfast in hotel, then drive by bus to Sevan Lake and start cycling to discover Hayravank 9th century monastery, then cycling across Lake Sevan we will visit Noradus Cemetery- a medieval cemetery with a large number of early “khachkarer” (cross-stones) dating back to the 10th century. After the visit return cycling to Sevan, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Sevan.
Day 6: Sevan - Selim Pass - Yeghegnadzor (Cycling distance 60-70 km)
After breakfast we drive by bus from Sevan. Visit the intact medieval Selim Caravanserai, an important trading center on the Great Silk Road. The Selim caravanserai was built in 1332 by Prince Chesar Orbelian. Selim is an excellent example of the Armenian secular architecture of the middle Ages. We continue the tour to the city of Yeghegnadzor, dinner and overnight stay in hotel
Day 7: Yeghegnadzor – Gladzor – Jermuk – Yeghegnadzor (Cycling distance 60-70 km)
After breakfast, start the day by cycling to Gladzor city and visiting the Gladzor University Historic- Cultural Preserve-Museum. Then continue cycling to Jermuk Spa Town; enjoy the beautiful nature of Jermuk and the mountains of Vayots Dzor, the waterfalls, the curing water pools. After the visit we return back cycling to Yeghegnadzor hotel for the dinner and overnight stay
Day 8: Yeghegnadzor – Noravank – Khor Virap – Yerevan (Cycling distance 65-70 km)
After breakfast we start cycling from Yeghegnadzor to visit Noravank, passing through a narrow road surrounded by rocks of hundred caves where one discovers a scene of harmony of architecture with nature. After exploring the area, we transfer by bus to the Ararat valley with a visit to the monastery of Khor Virap, which was built in the 17th century- a famous place of pilgrimage, where St. Gregory the Illuminator, the first Armenian Catholicos was imprisoned for 13 years. After the visit we cycle direct to Yerevan.
Day 9: Yerevan - Garni Village - Monastery Geghard - Yerevan (Cycling distance 70-80 km)
Breakfast in hotel and start cycling to the village of Garni where you will visit the pagan temple Garni (1 AD). The citadel and pagan temple Garni is a picturesque temple from the Hellenistic period and an impressive piece of ancient Armenian architecture. It was built in the first century AD by the Armenian king Trdad and was dedicated to the God of sun. Continue cycling to Geghard cave monastery (13th century). After the visit we cycle back to Yerevan.
Day 10: Departure.
Breakfast in hotel and free time till the flight time, then transfer to the Airport for the final departure.
